Vintages

A vintage Armagnac is an Armagnac that comes exclusively from one years harvest. For example, a vintage 1980 is an Armagnac distilled from wines made following the 1980 harvest only.

Each year, the cellar master puts a few Armagnac barrels to one side to conserve them as vintages for many years, sometimes decades.

Baron de Saint Feux  has a unique collection of more than 80 different vintages and in particular , all the vintages from 2009 to 1959.

Distillery

The distillation is an important step in the making of a premium Armagnac.

A small alambic will generally give birth to delicate flavours as well as a pleasant feeling of smoothness.
